Why a nutrient boost for plants is necessary

F1 Extreme Booster is a nutrient supplement for plants that results in bigger and tastier yields. When introduced from the sixth week of flowering, it induces a natural chemical change that boosts the development of buds and flowers.

F1 Extreme Booster – what is it?

This is achieved through strong concentrations of 13 percent phosphorus (P) and 14 percent potassium (K) – two of the macronutrients essential for healthy plant growth  – as well as various sugar molasses and the highest quality trace elements. These extra minerals and nutrients encourage growth in the ends of the stems, meaning the plant’s flowers and fruits have more time and support to develop and reach their full potential.

Potassium, on the other hand, can be considered the ‘regulator’ nutrient in the F1 Extreme Booster. Unlike phosphorus and nitrogen (the third essential plant macronutrient), potassium doesn’t become part of the plant material. Rather, it supports a variety of chemical and physical processes that are essential for strong, healthy growth. This includes activating plant enzymes that, for example, encourage plant growth and produce sugars. Potassium also helps with processes that indirectly help growth such as transporting nutrients, as well as regulating the plant’s breathing and moisture levels. After nitrogen, potassium is considered the second most important nutrient for plant growth, and the F1 Extreme Booster ensures plants absorb enough of it to grow faster and stronger, make better use of water, and fight pests and diseases.

F1 Extreme Booster – how does it work?

Phosphorus can be considered the ‘energy’ nutrient in the F1 Extreme Booster. This is because phosphorus allows for photosynthesis, which enables energy transfers in plant cells. This, in turn, leads to strong and healthy cell formations, particularly in the roots and shoots. As plants start to flower, their energy requirements increase and if there isn’t enough phosphorus available for the plant to absorb, its growth will be inhibited. That’s why even though phosphorus is necessary throughout the plant’s life cycle, it’s especially crucial during the transition from vegetative growth to flowering. Supplementing the plant’s growing conditions with the F1 Extreme Booster provides optimal levels of phosphorus, ensuring a substantial increase in flower size, weight and potency.

Since plant’s need for sugar when flowering is greater than its ability to produce it, F1 Extreme Booster also contains sugar molasses to drive cell growth and encourage microbe activity. This, alongside strong concentrations of potassium and phosphorus, and the presence of other trace elements, means your plants’ flowers will be larger, healthier and sweeter.
